How to Start:

Liberty Farm provides the horse and all of its equipment and teaches students the fundamentals of correct riding. Liberty Farm offers weekly one hour group lessons. Beginner groups are started in a small corral area until they are capable of controlling their horse at the walk, trot, and canter. Lessons are then taught in our spacious indoor arena with riders building foundational skills working towards cantering a course of jumps.

There are two options for enrollment in our public lesson program.

1. Six Month Sessions

We offer two sessions from February-July and from August-January.

Riders schedule a weekly class time that best fits their schedule and ability.

Each lesson package is invoiced in 6 monthly installments of $195. First time Liberty Farm riders may join midway through their first session at a prorated cost. Each student must have a completed Recurring Payment Authorization Form on file for the amount of their lesson package before they ride.

Enrollment in the next session opens at the start of the 5th month of the current session and is available on a first come first serve basis.

Each lesson slot will be offered 4 times per month. If a time slot occurs 5 times in a month and there are no conflicts or bad weather it will be offered at no additional cost.

There will be 3 makeup lessons available each session. Lessons will be rescheduled if Liberty Farm cancels due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.

If a rider cancels midway through a session a fee of 35% of the remainder of the session will be charged. Riders may move into our Boarder program at any time with no cancellation fee.

If a rider needs to change to a new time slot during a session they may do so with prior written (email) consent one week in advance.

2. Pay Per Lesson

Riders who need more flexibility can pay per lesson. A weekly time slow can be requested.

The cost of a single group lesson is $68. Each lesson must be paid for when the reservation is made.

There are no makeup lessons. If Liberty Farm cancels due to weather or unforeseen circumstances the lesson will not be charged.

Riders scheduled at the per lesson price must cancel in writing (email) 24 hours in advance or pay for the lesson.

How to Advance:

Riders wishing to advance are encouraged to enroll in two lessons per week. We also offer a Boarder program with both full and half leases for riders wishing to pursue this as a sport.
